Cheap RC Helicopter |
Review of the Cheap R/C Helicopter... HX-232 WinnerI recently bought a brand new, yet very cheap, radio controlled rc helicopter called the HX-232 Winner. For less than $50 ready to fly, it was so cheap I simply had to buy and test it out for myself. My first question to the department store sales was "Does this helicopter really fly?" I was skeptical because a bought a very cheap rc airplane that never really flew.
The department store guy assured me it will fly, and even showed me a TV set playing a video of this rc helicopter flying inside a living room. But I wanted to see it in live action, so the guy charged up the battery for 10 minutes and then gave me the controls. I was able to hover up and down quiet easily, and making the helicopter rotate to the left or right was also simple. So I immediately bought this "toy" and below is my honest opinion after flying it several times. Does it really fly? Yes. I've managed to hover it to around 15 feet up in the air in my backyard and around 9 feet up inside my garage. It can rotate to the left and to the right. However, moving forward or backward is a little tricky for beginners, but it is possible to do. How long does it fly? The manual says around 6 minutes per full charge. I've personally played for 30 minutes on a single charge, mainly because the flights are in short durations... flying then landing. Is it worth the $50? Yes. I love this "toy" helicopter. And to me, it is more than just a toy... you really feel like your flying a real heli. I've crashed it a few times and it still working. Where can I buy this rc helicopter? You can buy this cheap rc helicopter, the HX-232 Winner, from department stores or from an online rc shops. More Websites
